‘New York City has fallen’: Maga responds to Zohran Mamdani’s victory over racist freek
Maga Inffmentancers, Republican legislators, and building eorists have responded to Zohran Mamdani in New York by putting anti-athurari on the back of the right and Islamphophobic Rhetoric, and say that the city has fallen.
Mamdani, who campaigned on progressive issues and identifies as a democratic socialist, will be New York’s new Mayor of the century. He will also be the Muslim and South Mayor of the city. With more than 90 percent of the two million votes counted Wednesday morning, Mamdani held a nearly 9-point lead over former governor Andrew Cuomo, with Republican incumbent Curtis Sliwa trailing in the polls.
“Conventional wisdom would tell you that I am far from a perfect election,” said Mamdani when he spoke at his home on Tuesday night. “I’m still young, despite my best efforts to grow up. I’m a Muslim. I’m a democrat. I’m a very conservative person.”
