FOX has learned that Senate Republicans are hoping enough Democrats in the Senate will agree to join them to help break the filibuster with a test vote to fund the government in January. The proposal would also fund the Department of Agriculture and the Department of Agriculture, and Congress until September 30, 2026.

If the Republicans manage to coax enough Democrats to vote yes, the senate can vote early tomorrow to break the filibuster on the merger regulation. That would require 60 yeas.

One senate source told Fox it would be “a bad move at this stage” to endure a failed jobs vote on the current plan that Republicans believe is the only way to close the government-de-de-sac.

If enough Democrats have YOX, FOX is told the Senate could take a test vote Saturday night. With this letter, if the Senate breaks the filibuster, the Senate may not be able to take a final vote on the package until sometime on Monday or Tuesday. But the fox is told that it is possible that the Democrats can renew the time to speed up the process.

If the Senate is going to approve the deal, it goes to the House. But the status of the house is not clear in this law. And the house wouldn’t even consider the plan until the middle of next week at the earliest.
However, if the house aligns with the senate, the government will reopen – at least for a few months.
