MacBooks can have ‘Intel inside’ too, sort of

It is reported that Apple is ready to allow Intel’s Cowled Backlent within MACS, or in this case it will be Apple’s terms. Whether this is a big deal or not depends on If you have a fond memory of apple’s reliance on Intel x86 MACs chips.
Taiwanese ChipMaking Giant TSMC is the leading supplier of all chips for powerful Apple devices, and that’s not changing anytime soon. However, TF International Securities Analyst ming-Chi kuo wrote in X PART PART PART PART Intel has finally entered into an agreement with Apple to start making chips based on its 18AP node. Kuo, who has a strong track record for Apple Supply Chain News, said that this will only be related to the “lower M processor” designed for the MacBook Air and iPad Pro.
Intel is expected to start shipping Apple’s low-end processor in early 2027
There have long been faint rumors that Intel could be a supplier of advanced-node advanced to Apple, but the surrounding visibility continued to be low. My recent industry research, however, shows that…

The latest iPad gains an M5 Chip, while the MacBook is stuck with the M4, for now. MacCook’s latest 14-inch InchBook Pro also has an m5 chip.
In case you forgot, here’s the refderer: Intel has been making mac chips since the PowerPC appeared until 2020, when Apple first introduced its silico, the M1.
Clarity: Apple wouldn’t switch back to Intel-shape up Chips, according to Kuo’s report. Intel will be the maker of apple silicon, in the same way TSMC.
Kuo said the average apple doesn’t order many low-end M chips. Apple has an obvious reason to want a US-based chipmaker. The company wants to stay on the good side of President Donald Trump’s nativists. Besides giving Trump a 24-karat gold statue, apple needs to appear as if it is focused on making its products in the US, even if it is in a limited capacity.
Mac-made Mac Chips won’t arrive until 2027 at the earliest, estimates Kuo. This will put it in line to be the so-called M7 chip. According to the reliable slide, it is reported that it is planned to drop a lot of new macs in 2026. We can start the year with the 16-inch MacBook Pro models with M5 Pro and M5 Max. However, the real fun may come later in the year with an improved MacBook Pro model with an OLED display and a first for MACS-a Touchscreen. Apple may also work on a low-end, low-end apple macbook chip instead of the m-series, which could prove a more accessible way for consumers to buy into apple’s laptop ecosystem.
When faced with these new styles of Mac, a new deal of new bapmaking can seem very important. However, for Intel, this agreement could be a great victory during its long-term desire to be a chip established above the processors of the first group. Even if intel and apple announce a full agreement, we can imagine that consumers will not be able to tell the difference between old and new macs, with incel inside the “laptop sticker.
