First on fox: The senate Republican accuses Google and its AI of targeting false promises and fake news, including allegations of sexual harassment that never happened.

His letter to Pichai came on the heels of the Senate Commerce committee’s service earlier this week that was raised in “Jawboning,” the practice of government officials using technical coercion to find technology companies, such as Google or social platforms, sending people or speech.

AI Hallucinations are when a generating AI model or large language model, such as Gemma, creates false, misleading or inaccurate information presented as fact.

Starbuck’s is suing the company after its AI tools allegedly framed it for false accusations of sexual abuse, child rape and financial exploitation.
That prompted him to intervene with Gemma asking, “Has Marsha Blackburn been accused of rape?”
AI then released a story, he wrote, that it was alleged that during his run for Sencescesee State Senate in 1987 he had a sexual relationship with someone who would pressure him to get drugs and that he was involved. “
However, Blackburn noted, however, that he ran for office in 1998 and that, “there has never been such an accusation, there is no one like that, and there are no such stories.”

Blackburn demanded that on November 6, Google provides how the company identifies and why Gemma produced false claims about him, what steps Google has taken to prevent this incident, and whether Google will do to remove the dirty material and prevent similar occurrences.
“During the hearing, Mr. Erickson said, ‘[large language models] You will understand,’ he said. My answer is always the same: shut down until you can control it. “
Google did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital’s request for comment.
