AI is popular with people who get six figures, learning shows

AI has threatened to displace large workforces, and many people fear that it will take their jobs. A certain part of the human population seems indifferent to it, and very enthusiastic about it. Perhaps most obviously, AI is more popular among the group of workers making more than $100, one study has found.
This study comes from Business Intelligence Firm Morning Consult, and breaks down the fastest growing products by revenue across various product sectors. As you can see from the screenshot below, the products that get the fastest reliability of those who make the six companies are the companies AI and Openai, followed closely by WhatsApp. Microsoft Copilot is thrown into the mix. Chatgpt is also listed above its parent company.
When it comes to the popularity of the perfect chatbot for this income group, there is a clear winner: Chatgpt. “If we compare the main metrics of the seven metrics text of the largest AI chats among high-end consumers, we see there is a clear front-runner in many categories – chatgpt,” said the report. The popularity of OpenAi’s Flagship product is suggested by “a much greater awareness than its competitors.” The report also notes that chatgpt has “the highest looking processing share – about 10 points higher than its closest competitor.”
In contrast, the two fastest growing brands for people making between $50K-$99K are doordash and MTV. Currently, people making less than $50k, the two most popular products are the discount tie and the large amount of French Fried Chips.
The study is full of some funny findings, including analysis based on general preferences (baby boomers are obsessed with pringles, for example, while Gen-Z’s fastest-growing brand seems to be Ubebeats).
Axios talked to Morning After to find out more:
Such interest in AI tools has been growing strongly, said Bobby Blannard, senior director of audience development at Breakfast. But this year, there was an “explosion” of high-income consumers. Brand awareness, among consumers earning more than $100,000 was 78% in Gemini at the end of the third quarter, up from 62% in the fastest growing three months for AI,” said Blanchard.
AI is largely designed to replace level-level work.
