Ayaneo is entering the competitive smartphone market with its latest offering, but it hopes to attract mobile gamers there. In a teaser posted on its YouTube channel, the gaming handset maker gave its first look at the Ayaneo phone. As vague as the trailer, Ayaneo clearly has a lot in mind, describing the smartphone as where “a mobile phone meets the soul of a Gaming Handheld.”
From the teaser, it looks like the Ayaneo phone will be built with a standard camera setup. Perhaps more relevant to its gaming-centric design, it looks like the smartphone will have physical shoulder buttons when held horizontally. Ayaneo previously talked about the Ayaneo phone during a product sharing session over the summer, where it was teased with a form factor. This could be another idea that Ayaneo is looking at making today’s version of the Sony Xperia play, especially since the Ayaneo phone will go down under the brand of the company that shows to wake up recoon dessoles and devices.
If you consider Ayaneo’s price tags for their other products, Ayaneo phones may not be cheap. However, it can provide a strong competition to other gaming smartphones from ASUS or RedMagic.
