Samsung P9 Express MicroSD Expression Card (512GB) for $75 at Amazon ($25 Off MSRP): If you need more room for your switchn 2, this is the bottom of the 512GB version of Samsung’s new SteelD expression card. Full Disclosure: Samsung launched this card a few weeks ago, and we just got around to testing it. But given the practice of switching the same 2 functions that we have seen with other Express cards so far, and the fact that this is the cheapest model we can find in stock as of this writing. Lexar Play Pro (1TB) MicroSD Express Riser Card for $186 at Amazon ($34 Off): If you are looking for the best space for Nintendo’s New Console, the play Pro is one of the few MicroSD Express cards available in a capacity of 1TB. This is the second best price we’ve seen on this CARD since July, so it’s not an amazing deal, but it’s the cheapest 1TB model we can find from a trusted brand right now.

It has mediocre write speed, so it’s not good for the camera, but it should be very usable for most people who just want to add space to an Android tablet or a cheap nintendo switch. Sandisk MicroSD Express Card (256GB) for $60 at Amazon ($8 Off): Like the offer above, this discount matches the best price we’ve seen on Sandosk’s 25GGB Express card. There is not much point in holding as long as it is cheap in stock, although this is the fastest technical model that we have tested when it comes to transferring games 2 (In games, however, the difference is still small.) It’s not the fastest PCIE 4.0 drive on the market these days, but it’s still fast enough for PS5 Direct use that it’s worth grabbing when it’s reduced like this. Crucial T705 (2TB) PCIE 5.0 SSD with HeatSink for $170 at B&H ($150 Off): If you need more room from a PCIE 5.0 Drive, the most important T705 is something a little older but has been rated for blazing fast speeds. This is the best price we have tracked for a 2TB model with a heatsink, which is not 100 bucks for everyone but helps reduce the same draw.
Samsung SSD 9100 Pro (8TB) PCIE 5.0 SSD with HeatSink for $750 at B&H ($270 Off): Yes, we see that this is a ton to spend on a new SSD, but if you are in a niche looking for a PCIE 5.0 Drive with as much scale as possible, it ties the lowest price we have followed for the top model of Samsung. Many reviews say that the 9100 Pro is moved by the WD Black SN8100 at the end of the market, but it is still competitive, and the 8TB version of the WD Drive is as high as $250. Most of the other direct competitors, at the moment, are not available with this much space.
Crucial P310 (2TB) M.2 2230 SSD for $130 at B&H ($111 off, in and out of stock): The P310 is a small ssd whose small size can slot into some thin and light notebooks or gaming laptops like the Steam Deck. It uses cheap QLC memory, not the fast and long-lasting TLC, but most reviews say it does that well. This discount is a few bucks more than the biggest drop so far for the 2TB model, but it’s still about $20 off the regular street price. And on Amazon.

It uses USB 3.2 Gen 2×2 interface, few PCs and no MACS support, so most people will not notice the difference between it and USB 23 as widely as X9 Pro. (Pricier USB4 and Thunderbolt models, meanwhile, are much faster and generally easier to use.)

Crucial X10 Pro (4TB) Portable SSD for $210 at B&H ($60 Aff): The X10 Pro is an older and slower version of the X10 – confusing, we know – but it comes with a metal enclosure, five-year hardware encryption (instead of 256-bit. The X9 Pro and X10 standard are better values when they’re cheap, but not right now if you want a 4TB drive. This price is like an All-Time Low.
Seagate Extreme Storage Card for Xbox (2TB) for $185 at Amazon ($75 Off): As annoying as it is, the only way to completely add storage to an Xbox Series X or series s is to use a proprietary expansion card. Only two of those exist, and they are very expensive compared to traditional SSDs. However, they are dead easy to set up, and this marine model holds up well compared to indoor storage. This new lower 2TB model and $15 cheaper than the price we saw on Black Friday. And on a best buy with walmart for $200.
The 4TB variant is reduced to $380 – that’s a ton to spend on one of these things, but it’s like the lowest price we’ve tracked for that particular model.
