Lisbon Airport turns Private Jets into web conference
Startup founders and government officials met with a different flavor of the world’s startup crisis at this year’s webinar, Financial Times reports. Lisbon Airport has been forced to turn to private jets, sending planes to seek runway space at airports as far away as Badajoz, two hours away from Lisbon.
The problem may come with the field. The Web conference is a technology business conference that tends to attract investors, startup speakers and high-profile keynote speakers – This year’s conference has things to say about the CEO of Quo, for example – many of whom like to fly privately. That poses the problem of Lisbon airport.
“Please be advised that there is a shortage of Private Jet Slots during the Web Summit at Lisbon Airport (LIS) and surrounding airports,” said the organizer of the Web Summit. “Lisbon Airport is facing difficulties in managing the volume of traffic, which has led to a lack of available capacity and the arrival of all operations.”
Bola Net free He writes that this type of airport is Airportleneck’s first for the conference, and it may be due to the growing prediction of private jets as there is a number of attendees at this year’s conference. Putting aside the environmental impact of Private Flying, you would think that all those brilliant minds would come up with some kind of solution beyond flying away and driving to Portugal. Maybe a plane with superpowers for people to crash into at the same time?
