MIT researchers and Brackif Brand Amoreepacific develop wearable patch that analyzes skin aging
The researchers at Mit have been working with the South Korean beauty company for the past few years to develop a wearable platform “that can provide skincare recommendations, and because of the jut at CES 2026 as” Skinsight. Skinsight, which was announced as one of the CES 2026 Innovation Aid Honoreees this week, is a Bluetooth-equipped sensor that attaches to the skin and works with a mobile app, skin tracking, temperature and humidity.

Based on the learning, the AI-Powered app will predict how different factors can affect or accelerate skin aging, and suggest the right products for the user to incorporate into their skincare routine. The patch is designed to be breathable and sweat-resistant so it can last a long time. The group has not participated in the acquisition of skins and costs.
