Wired’s Roundup: FANDOM in politics, Zuckerberg’s unofficial school, and Nepal’s Discord Revolution

Leah Feger: Zoë, I am concerned about this matter. Before you continue, I think it’s very important to say that Caroline, the dear reporter of this story on your business desk, has found 1,665 pages of documents about the argument about the argument about the argument about the argument about the argument about the argument about Zuckerberg’s House. This story is Canon now.
Zoë Schiffer: Caroline Haskins is an absolute star. Our fact-checking team literally cried when I asked them. They were like, “Wait, I’m sorry, how many documents are we looking at?” I was like, “Yeah.”
Leah Feger: Leave it to the research team with a thread.
Zoë Schiffer: Of course. The school, I think we should just say, is named after the Zuckerberg family chickens. It is called Bicken Ben School.
Leah Feger: I mean to hear you say this, of course, I know you have weed, but again.
Zoë Schiffer: So, the Crescent City neighborhood in Palo Alto, where the Zuckergs live, is, as you can imagine, one of the best real estate in the country. It’s full of these beautiful homes, a ton of green. Mark Zuckerberg has been expanding his presence throughout the years in this ultra fancy place. The Zuckergs’ country estate has expanded to include 11 unique properties in the past. This is funny and such a night. If you live on the street, you paid whatever, 5 million for your house, and suddenly all your neighbors are Mark Zuckerbergs.
Leah Feger: It is important to note that not all are linked. I don’t fully understand what that means. Do they walk across the neighbor’s porch to get to their horse’s pond? What does this include?
Zoë Schiffer: We have many questions. Must Google Earth This. I think there are holes in this story that we need to fill. The first expansion was the neighbors of Mark Zuckerberg, back in 2016, because of the fear that his purchases were driving the market well. But then, about five years later, neighbors began to notice that the school appeared to be operating out of the Zuckerberg building. Therefore, this is illegal to do without a permit, at least under the local residential code. And, naturally, the neighbors began to warn the village. Caroline Haskin, a reporter in the story, found more than a thousand documents, as you said, describing the war that comes out between the neighbors and the city authorities, it sounded to them as if the zuckerbergs were getting special treatment.
