Philippine President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr. He said seven people wanted to communicate with Anomalies in government flood control projects now, as his administration aims to show concrete progress in its fight against corruption.
In a video statement released on Monday, Mr. Marcos said that one suspect was arrested by the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI), while the other six are being investigated by the Philippine National Police and the Philippine National Police. Many of the two suspects have signed that they intend to answer for themselves.
The arrest followed the revelation of the public noise of the Multibillion-Peso Public frustration of the organized fraud has deepened in the past months, especially after the extensive flooding is revealed in poor or non-existent years.
“There will be no special treatment,” said the President of the Philippines, adding that all the accused will remain under the orders of the Court of Justice.
He said the authorities are tracking seven other people at large, including House Appropriations Committee Chairman Elizaldy S.
An anti-Front court issued arrest warrants last week for Mr CO and 16 others, including seven who were arrested.
Mr. Marcos said that one of the suspects was caught outside their home, and that the people who defended the robbery would face charges. He urged the remaining respondents to donate, saying they should answer the allegations in court.
The President also warned that anyone who helps fugitives who fall under arrest can be prosecuted for keeping the suspects. “We will not stop. We will not come,” he said, adding that the investigation and arrests will continue until all those covered by the warrants are accounted for.
In the palace forum, Mr. Marcos destroyed aside the public claim of Mr.
He urged the resigned Congressman to return to the Philippines and give evidence instead of posting allegations online.
Mr. CO OREPTIRE released documents that he said showed delivery to Mr. Marcos and former Governor Ferdinand Martin G. Rouldez, the president’s cousin. He stated that he could not return to Manila because of threats to his life and said that he believed that the authorities were preparing to mark the terrorists.
Population portal
And on Monday, Mr. Marcos launched a digitalization platform for public works projects, presenting it as a measure of direct change from flood relief.
He said the DPWH (Department of Public Works and Radical Ways) will give Filipinos real-time access to detailed information on public works projects and serve as the third tier of the government’s response to the controversy.
The first two stages involved identifying “ghost” or innocent projects and determining who has benefited from thousands of suspicions.
“One of the clear lessons from this whole episode is that we lost clarity,” Mr Marcos told a news conference in the Philippines. “These villains hid their plans because ordinary citizens – and sometimes, even officials – could not see what was going on inside the government.”
Using the portal, users can search for any DPWH project and view its office, contractor, cost, time estimate, completion timeline and status reports. People can also tag projects as completed, in error, duplicate, unfinished or potential.
The system includes maps, geotagged construction photos, procurement information and tracking documents such as budgets, bid schedules and contractor lists. Satellite images provided by the Philippine Space Agency and private partners add an independent layer of verification.
The platform also features a virtual assistant that can answer project-specific questions in English or Filipino. Streams DPHH Procument and bidding activities in real time, extending visibility to a process long criticized for Opacity.
“This is more than that [sumbongsapangulo.ph] The website can contribute,” said Mr. Marcos, referring to the appeal portal launched in September.
He also described the transparent portal as a “digital wall against corruption” and said that similar systems are being set up in the public safety system and the Philippine Health Insurance Corp. He said that Push’s wide-ranging flexibility is triggered by the discovery of flood control.
“The sun is the best medicine,” she said. “Open everything up. People don’t trust the system today – and who can blame them? But this is the first step in restoring confidence.”
Mr Marcos said the administration will continue to issue reforms as investigations into unusual projects and meetings between officials and contractors are ongoing.
ICI referrals
At that time, the independent infrastructure commission (ICI) was transferred to involve Mr. Ruon Roualdez on the frequency of irregularities linked to the government’s flood control program in the Office of the Ombudsman to continue the Government of the Ombudsman to continue in the office’s plan to improve others.
“This transfer is issued without finding or the conclusion of the feeling or debt towards the former drought RobLez,” said a document with two pages submitted to the Ombudsman on November 21 and released on Monday. “It is transmitted only to ensure that all acts, omissions and circumstances fall within the constitutional mandate of the Ombudsman.”
The transfer includes Mr. Aufialdez’s Offidavit, a stenographic transcript of Oct. 14 Appearances before the ICI, and video and audio recordings of the trial. It also contains Oct. 24 Order from a Manila judge concludes that the affidavit of the previous security school was fabricated.
In a statement, Abdiel Dan Elijah Fajardo, spokesperson for the speaker, welcomed the completion of the truth commission, to protect the authority. “From the beginning, we have said that a fair and thorough examination of the record will show the truth.”
Jean S. Enqus-Franco, a political science professor at the University of the Philippines-Diliman, said authorities appear to be cautious, probably because they have yet to build a strong case.
“However, due to strong pressure from various groups, he had to talk about RomalDez in a way that allowed them to be seen as doing something about his links to fraud,” said Viber.
Antonio A. Ligon, law and business professor at De La Salle University, said ICI’s move and the Ombudsman’s mandate to investigate government officials suspected of illegal activities.
He said the transfer was authorized because the ICI is a fact-finding body, not a prosecutor. By raising this issue, the commission avoids repetition and reinforces the authenticity of positions.
He pointed out that unlike ICI Officials involving DPWH officials who led to the connection and transfer to Mr. Roualdez are established by the same principles but without clear evidence of wrongdoing.
