Rode’s latest wireless microphones now work with digital cameras
Rode’s range of compact, portable microphones is a staple for creators looking for CRISP sound in their phone videos. The company knows that those who use digital cameras probably want that same combination of portability and performance to be theirs. That’s why we’re introducing a new mini wireless camera kit, with audio output over USB-C or 3.5mm line-in.
As with the wireless mic, the new set includes a microphone and speaker that all reside in a portable charging case. You will also get furry wind screens if you need to get a film under good weather. But unlike this model, the receiver comes with a Cold Shoe Mount and a fixed 1.1-inch screen. That will let you configure the audio setup on the fly, and you’ll get battery data for all three units and the Visual Visigizer.

It will appear that the ride was noticed by the user whose KITs were shown by DJI mini mini, which had a transmitter with a camera jack. In addition, Rode has added Bluetooth Direct Connect to the microphone so it can be connected to your iOS phone directly through the capture app. Which, like 3.5mm, was a notable feature from older hardware.
In terms of battery life, Rode says the kit and charging case will hold up to 21 hours of use before needing to go back out.
And, to sweeten the deal, it also throws in one of the first generation USB-C USB-C ports in the package for free.
Rode’s Wireless Micro Camera is available for purchase today for $149.
