Sign #6: The “Glitch” Reaction (She Acts Weird)

This is the one that ruins everything.

Seriously. This is the exact moment where most guys give up, walk away, and tell their buddies, “Yeah, she’s definitely not interested.”

The Scenario Picture this: You see her across the room. She is laughing loudly with her friends. She looks confident, funny, and relaxed. She’s the life of the party.

So, you decide to walk over and say hi.

And suddenly… she shuts down.

Her voice gets quiet. She looks at the floor or fiddles with her necklace. She gives you short, awkward answers like “Yeah,” or “Cool.” She might even excuse herself and run to the bathroom.

The Misunderstanding You walk away thinking: “Wow, she was so cold. She must hate me. She was happy a second ago, and I killed the vibe.”

No, you didn’t kill the vibe. You overloaded the system.

The Insider Secret: Why We Do This When we really, really like someone, our adrenaline spikes. Our heart starts hammering against our ribs so hard we think you can hear it.

We are so terrified of saying something stupid that we end up saying nothing. We panic. We enter “buffer mode.” We aren’t trying to be rude; we are trying not to faint or vomit on your shoes.

The “Cool vs. Weird” Test If you aren’t sure if she’s glitching or just actually rude, here is the test: Watch how she treats other guys.

Is she high-fiving your buddy Mark? Is she cracking jokes with the bartender? Is she totally relaxed with every other male in the room?

But with you, she’s stiff and awkward?
