The first Pokémon Theme Park opens in February 2026

Poképark kanto, the first Pokémon Theme Park, will open its doors on February 5, 2026. Past Pokémon Parks. Poképark kanto will be located inside the Yomiuriuriland Amusement Park in Tokyo, Japan and will require an add-on pass to enter. Visitors will have to pass through the “Pokémon Research Lab” building, which serves as the gateway to two sections of the park: Pokémon Forest and Selge City

The Pokémon Forest is exactly what it sounds like. It is an expanse of land and hills, long grass paths, long stone paths, where visitors will see Pokémon in their natural habitats. Pokémon models are asked to show that they are involved in various activities, such as fighting or playing with friends.

Meanwhile, Sedge Town is the center of town where visitors will find a Pokémon center and a Poké Mart, which sounds like a place where they can buy available food. In addition to the main attractions, Poképark Kanto will feature Pika Pika Paradise, a ride inspired by more than 30 types of Pokémon. There is also a vee vee ride, a carousel with Ponyta and rapidash, and balloons where guests can ride with Eevee.
