A Virginia High School Football coach who disappeared amid allegations of pornography has had his profile removed from the school’s website.
On Tuesday, authorities announced they had obtained 10 warrants charging Travis L. Turner, 46, with five counts of possession of child pornography and five counts of drug use.
The investigation remains ongoing, with authorities adding that additional charges are pending.

Police have launched a wide-ranging search of the area using drones, K-9 units and foot patrols. He was last seen wearing a gray sweatshirt, sweatpants and glasses, according to Virginia’s missing person database.
Just days after the investigation was announced and Turner’s disappearance followed, Union High School appeared to have removed the football coach’s profile from the Online Staff Directory, according to ABC 7.
When searching for Turner’s last name on the site, it was ‘listed’ as an employee by his eldest son, Bailey, who works as a physical education teacher, the Daily Mail reported.

In a previous statement, the spokesperson for the County Public School has confirmed that the staff employed by the district has been placed on Administrative Shirt pending the review of external allegations. However, the statement did not identify the staff member involved or mention the charges against Turner.
“The staff member has been placed on paid administrative leave while an outside agency reviews the allegations that were reported to the department,” Superintendent Mike Goforth said in a statement at the time. “This is a normal procedure and is not a determination of malice.”
In an updated statement released later in the week, the school district acknowledged that the enforcement action has since filed charges against the previously suspended staff member.

“One is always on recess and is not allowed on school property or to interact with students,” Goforth said. “The division will continue to cooperate with law enforcement as this process moves forward. Because this is an active legal matter involving the employees, the division’s department cannot comment further.”
Smart County Public Schools did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital’s request for comment on Turner’s current employment status.
The allegations against Turner are not the first to shake up the Virginia high school community.

In 2023, Timothy Lee Meavor, a teacher and coach at the same school, pleaded guilty to two counts of child endangerment and served one year and three months in prison, ABC 7 said.
The employment of two men at the school is reported to have been terminated, but the details regarding any sports trips that have been taught are not clear.
Because of the charges against Turner, his wife, Leslie Caudill Turner, spoke out to deny the allegations after her husband was charged, To tell the Daily Mail That “none of this is true.”
“He’s a good father and a good husband, and we want him home. That’s it,” she said. “I don’t know anything. I don’t know anything. I’m sorry.”

An attorney for Turter’s family and VSP did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital’s Recorser request for comment.
