HBO’s genre dramas are often a big deal, and so far, Welcome to Derry it’s not the same.
Via The Hollywood Reporter, the first episode of It The Prequeel was watched by 5.7 million Platform viewers over three days. He’s the Second-Scored Chenge Ofter Chenge Oftern in HBO History, Coming After 2022 Pilots The house of the dragon and Last for us in 2023. In their early days only, The one who breathes fire he had about 10 million viewers, while – Last they had 4.7 million viewers and more over the course of three days. (The Finale to Finally only the first season nearly reached the same numbers as Dragon’s premiere.)
A lot Welcome to Derry Spectators are caught in the PREIere after Sunday’s first night. Despite the show’s strong reviews, the episode itself garnered attention online for its bloody ending, and it helped that it was scheduled just before Halloween. That twist took a lot of people by surprise — including HBO, as it turns out — and will likely get seats for the rest of the season.
Since Halloween fell on a Friday this year, the second Inverry The episode aired on HB MAX before the usual Sunday timeslot. HBO also released an intro for the show, made with Frium Studio Trimograph. In a different delicious conversation, executive producer / director Andy Muschietti called the sequence of the title ‘fear of panic’ as it gets crowded with children or looking at the events of the whole city. The sequence “reflects our desire to show the great tragic events” referred to the novel of the king of Stephen, continued to rely on delry to be “a place that seems healthy, but there is something scary under the surface.”
